Allied Health Interdisciplinary Leader - Corangamite

This new 12 month position, up to 64 hours per fortnight, will work with the Corangamite Health Collaborative to provide interdisciplinary clinical leadership, and develop a sustainable Allied Health workforce within the Corangamite region.

The Corangamite Health Collaborative is an independent group of public health agencies working together to improve health outcomes and service delivery for people in the Corangamite Shire. Agencies involved in the “Collaborative” include Corangamite Shire, Cobden Health, South West Healthcare, Timboon & District Healthcare Services, Terang & Mortlake Health Services and Beaufort & Skipton Health Service.

The Allied Health Interdisciplinary Leader will provide clinical leadership, and work with managers and staff within each of the Corangamite Health Collaborative agencies, to implement and achieve strong clinical governance outcomes.

A key focus of the role is to develop a coordinated and sustainable Allied Health workforce and service delivery model that is shared and integrated across the collaborative health service providers in the Corangamite region.

As a Grade 3 / Senior Clinician you will ideally have at least seven (7) years’ experience, and preferably a post-graduate qualification in a relevant clinical area of practice.

Thorough understanding of the public health system, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and demonstrated multidisciplinary team leadership skills are essential for this role.

There is the possibility of this role expanding to other areas within the Barwon South West region into the future.
