Lifeline WA Education Services provides training workshops and seminars for health and welfare professionals and other interest groups.

Participants are taught how to identify when someone is at risk of suicide, how to intervene with confidence, and how to seek professional help - that is, how to apply 'suicide first aid'. Anyone in the community can learn 'suicide first aid'. In fact, anyone who cares about their family, friends, and work colleagues will benefit from the training.

Current programs include:

  • Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST)
  • SafeTALK
  • SuicideTALK
  • Counselling the Bereaved
  • Moving On
  • Working Effectively
