Katherine Hunt

Katherine is a qualified Clinical Psychologist with over 14 years of clinical and research experience. She has a Master's degree (Clinical) from the University of South Australia. Katherine completed further training in Family Therapy, Eating Disorders and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. She has also worked as a Master's thesis supervisor and examiner at the Institute of Psychiatry, King's College London, UK.

Katherine has expertise in treating adult and child clients with a diverse range of issues, including depression, anxiety, and trauma. She has a special interest in women's health and is a co-author on a published book which addresses the needs of pregnant women and mothers with severe mental health issues.

Katherine is proficient at using a variety of therapeutic approaches and rarely subscribes to just one modality. Approaches that she regularly uses include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Relaxation Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing, and Family Therapy.
