Medical alarms

Slips and falls are hazardous for anyone, but for the elderly or people with a disability, they can be life-threatening.

Do you worry about your loved one or patient having a fall in their home? What if they can't call for help? Help those you care for remain living independently with a St John lifelink medical alarm.

The system features an infrared beam that senses if there has been no movement within a specified timeframe, for example if someone has fallen over and is unable to move, or if they have not gotten out of bed.

An alarm will sound, asking if they are ok. If there is no response, St John (Qld) will activate the emergency response procedure to ensure your loved one or patient can receive help if they require it.

  • Reduces further injury, provides peace of mind and maintains independence.
  • Infrared activity sensors activate alarm if client has not moved in specified timeframe.
  • Daily self testing (pendants and personal response unit).
  • St John lifelink operators know client's medical history.
  • Reliable, affordable and effective.
